Criteria for suggesting a link to MilSpouse.Org:

  • Meets the MilSpouse purpose of providing resources related to finding and/or developing jobs and careers, education and training, relocation and support resources.
  • Presents good information and provides a real value to military spouses.
  • Does not advocate or support hatred or prejudice.
  • Does not require a military spouse to buy anything in order to take advantage of its services.
  • Information and services provided are not proprietary in nature.
  • Does not require the military spouse to download anything in order to view the site or information on the site.
  • Ownership or sponsorship of the Web site must be clearly stated.
  • The site is well-organized, well-designed, functional and easy to use.
  • A privacy policy specifically indicating practices that protect the privacy of the military spouse and does not subject military spouses to e-mail spam or other forms of electronic harassment.
  • Users should not be required to register or complete a profile before they receive information or services.
